smooth sailing
I walked over to the other building this morning to take the deposit over and my coworker Chrissy was like, "you're staying right?" and I give her the blank stare, then she reminds me that we were supposed to have a phone conference meeting about an insurance company. OH SHIT!!! That was a big waste of an hour and a half of my life and work time. Of course only 2 of us made it to the meeting, our boss didn't even show up. Turns out he was playing golf today. =\

But at least on my walk over I did find a dime! It was sitting on a grate that goes around a tree, it was just sitting there waiting for me to pick it up. Kind of like it refrained from falling down through the grate slats into the junk below just for me! Yaaay!

Towards the end of the day I ended up finding a few problems with the new system and also had a few questions pop in my head. So I sent those to the appropriate people so that they can worry about them >=)

I was just on facebook to confirm an old school friend request. My mind said to itself, "hmm you should turn off the chat option on facebook before someone tries to chat with you." I'm more of a listener than I am a chatter, so I get a little panicky when people try to talk to me because I usually don't have much to say. A lot of the people on my facebook friends list are the theater people and high school people, and generally they don't do the instant chat thing with me. But of course before I could turn it off, bam one pops up! Noooooooo!!! It was an old class mate and she had been sending me messages on there through the "email" feature, she started talking about possibly hanging out sometime, going to get a glass of wine or something. I had gotten busy from work so hadn't returned her last message, turns out she had the day off today so she was looking for stuff to do. I already had plans to run some vacation errands after work though, so I told her that but added if she wanted to do it later maybe we could around 8 or 9 tonight. I have a feeling it's going to be kind of awkward. We hung out a little bit when we were really young, then not so much or basically not at all during high school. Guess that's what I get for volunteering to help out with the reunion. Blah, maybe I'll go if she calls...who knows maybe she's hitting on me hahahaha.
