the one that got away
Not sure if I mentioned it before or not, but at the carnival I ended up running into my main junior high crush. Chuck was teasing me endlessly because I was blushing after getting a great hug from him. Now I get to turn the tables on him hehehe, he actually joined facebook to keep up with some of the people he has worked with since they are students and leave to go onto their careers after completeing their residency. Well he ended up finding his crush on facebook, she was the type that they were really good friends but never dated. By the time he sort of had the confidence to ask her out she was already dating one of his friends, then he met me. He was all giddy about it when he was telling me yesterday. So now I get to tease him >=) hehe.

Work has been horrendous the past few days. We have been having a lot of internet and computer program issues here. Of course the main bulk of my work I need both of those to be able to do it. So annoying. I'm surprised I was actually able to get on here to type this. I still haven't heard from either of the jobs I interviewed at. The most recent one I suspect will probably be awhile because they still have the job posted online. I really wouldn't mind staying here a little longer as long as they fired a few management people >=)

On sunday we went to a BBQ at a friend's house that I met through theater. She's the one directing the kids play I'm stage managing. There were a few other people that I met through theater too. We had a great time, it ended up raining so had to have the party inside. So we ate burgers and hotdogs and played board games. I laughed my ass off at trying to play Pictionary. The one couple that was there are a lot of fun, I'd love to hang out with them more. I think after that party we might. David found out about Chuck's passion for Mystery Science Theater movies so he mentioned that they will have us over one of these days to watch some. They live in Corning which is 25 minutes in a different direction. I think his wife is the closest to my personality than I have met. Just taller and louder than me hehe. She's a big amazonian woman, but they are both a lot of fun. I can't wait to get the house remodeled enough so I can invite people over for those kinds of things. I'm a little embarrassed by the house, not because it's really crappy looking and dirty because it's clean right now and a good house compared to some of my friend's homes, but I'm embarrassed because we really haven't done anything with it in the past 7 years. Our furniture is that of a bachelor pad, random things here and there lol and the most decorating I've done is a couple of framed movie posters and Matt Cail's paintings :D

Since Chuck and I are both insanely busy this summer, I'm hiring my friend's boyfriend Chris to come in and do minor work, and painting. So hopefully by this time next year I will at least have enough of the house done to where I will want to have people over.
